NBA／丟主帥毛巾懲處出爐 莫里斯認錯

鳳凰城太陽大前鋒Markieff Morris在上一場主場對丹佛金塊的比賽中因不滿上場時間過少而向總教練Jeff Hornacek怒丟毛巾，球團今日宣布將其禁賽兩場，並且不支薪。
「我的挫折感害我在那瞬間失去了理智，我保證這不會再發生了。我向教練道了歉。直到我的隊友告訴我，我才知道我用毛巾丟教練。」Morris在個人Twitter上寫道。
「不管怎樣都不可能是我故意這樣做的，我只是太想要上場幫助球隊贏球了，這是我前進的動力。」
禁賽兩場意味著接下來鳳凰城太陽對上費城七六人以及克里夫蘭騎士的兩場主場比賽中Morris都只能在場邊觀戰，也將因此損失美金14萬5455元（約台幣476萬）。
Morris上一季還是太陽主力球員，場均能取得15.3分6.2籃板，本季季初因弟弟Marcus Morris被交易走而與球團鬧不愉快，開季後表現起伏過大被降為替補，上場時間驟減的情況下，場均數據僅剩10.8分4.8籃板，投籃命中率也比上季的46.5%下降了8.6個百分點。
